Entire India will be proud post release of Varanasi - Mahesh Babu

Superstar Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer SSMB29 has been titled as Varanasi. SS Rajamouli is directing the film and Vijayendra Prasad, SS Kaanchi have written the story. Deva Katta has written the dialogues for the film.


Rajamouli grandly revealed the title of the movie and stated that he wanted to do it in March, before starting shoot but it got dragged till November. He got emotional due to the delays while playing the video on the stage but revealed that he is lucky to have met Mahesh Babu, as he brought Lord Rama to life in Ramayanam episode.


The title reveal trailer showcased wide variety of landscapes and timeline jumps the story takes. From Ramayanam to modern day asteroid strike, the story goes through great lengths and breadths in uniting science fiction and mythology. The stunning visuals and scope of the story are gigantic.


With Lord Shiva's trident Mahesh Babu riding a bull, looks like modern day Lord Shiva. Mahesh speaking at the event stated that he is lucky to be able to do the movie and he is proud of it. He stated that entire India and world will be proud post release. Keeravaani revealed that the movie is planned for 2027 Summer release.
