Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, directed by Shankar Shanmugam, is currently in post production phase and is scheduled for release in June 2024. Meanwhile, the versatile actor has a biggie titled Thug Life under the direction of renowned filmmaker Maniratnam.

Thug Life shoot started recently in Chennai. The makers confirmed that Trisha Krishnan, Dulquer Salmaan, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Karthik and Joju George are onboarded with official poster. Lot of news portals reported that Dulquer Salmaan opted out of the project with dates issue and Kollywood star Silambarasan TR will be replacing Dulquer in this mammoth project.

Everyone thought that Dulquer missed out a great chance. Recently, we've heard that the actor rejoined the project. He will participating in the shoot very soon.

The film is produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananthi under the banners of Raaj Kamal International Films and Madras Talkies.

Udhayanidhi Stalin serves as the movie’s presenter, and the acclaimed AR Rahman is handling the music composition.
