Bollywood stars like Ajay Devgn, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar for few years, did promote pan masala brands in style. They have been offered lucrative deals for promoting the brand and they took it as an opportunity to make money. But Anil Kapoor has decided to decline such an offer. 

Senior star actor Anil Kapoor has decided to decline Rs.10 crores offer from a pan masala brand citing his responsibility to society and audiences. He stated that he wants to stay true to his values and doesn't want to go against them for monetary gains.

He has set an example for others to not be lured by money and forget their responsibility towards audiences and society. On the other hand, these big brands claim that they are not selling tobacco and promoting their brands shouldn't be seen as a crime. 

Several fans of the said actors also opine that the actors should start disassociating with such brands which attract negativity towards them and rather should stay true to their values. Well, should they learn from Anil Kapoor or not, let's leave it to their personal choice.
