Film Celebs Who Had Kids Through Surrogacy

Surrogacy is the process of giving birth as a surrogate mother or of arranging such a birth. In simple words, surrogacy is nothing but renting womb to have kids. Third-party reproduction is actually used by couples unable to reproduce in the traditional manner. In recent times, few film celebrities had kids through surrogacy. Latest to join the list is Bollywood ace filmmaker Karan Johar. He had twins named Roohi and Yash. Here is the list of film personalities had kids through surrogacy:
1. Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan and his second wife Kiran Rao wanted a child. But Kiran’s miscarriage left the couple dismayed for a while. Soon, they decided to opt for surrogacy and had a lovely baby in Azad Rao Khan. Aamir already has two children Junaid and Ira with his first wife Reena Dutta.
2. Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan, who were already parents to Aryan and Suhana Khan, opted for surrogacy for AbRam Khan in 2013. AbRam was unwell right after he was born and in the incubator, and so he was well-protected from the world. Now, of course, he is a star on social media.
3. Tusshar Kapoor
Tusshar became the first single father of Bollywood who used surrogacy to welcome baby boy Laksshya into the world and the Kapoor family. Tusshar always wanted to adopt a child. But on the suggestion of director Prakash Jha, he decided to go in for surrogacy.
4. Sohail Khan
Salman Khan's younger brother Sohail Khan and his wife Seema decided to have their second baby ten years after the birth of their first son, Nirvaan. The couple considered IVF surrogacy as an option and their second child, Yohan, was born in June 2011.
5. Farah Khan
Farah Khan got married to Shirish Kunder in her 40s. The couple tried for two years for a baby. Finally, she decided to go through with IVF for the birth of her triplets. Her children were born in February 2008.
6. Manchu Lakshmi
Manchu Lakshmi and Andy Srinivasan got married in 2006. The couple considered IVF surrogacy as an option for the birth of their baby girl Vidya Nirvana. The little one was born at a clinic on 15 June in 2014.
7. Karan Johar:
Bollywood star filmmaker Karan Johar stated several times that, he was not interested in marriage business. He had twins through surrogacy. The kids have been in hospital since their premature birth on February 7. They are likely to be discharged after two more weeks, as per reports.
