Sivakarthikeyan has started his career as TV host and achieved immense popularity with his quick wit. As an actor too, he established himself as a box office hero with comic films. Now, he is slowly trying to prove his versatility with different films and Amaran is his big litmus test.

Well, many know how Vijay in his recent film, THE GOAT, handed over "Thuppakki - his gun" to Siva and asked to take care of it. 

Seems like Sivakarthikeyan has become the favorite of both current ruling stars of Tamil Cinema to bet on as the next big thing. Let's see how he would reciprocate their trust in him with Amaran. GV Prakash Kumar's score for the film is already a major hit. On top of all that, Sai Pallavi as female lead has created waves and good anticipation for the film with her centric teaser.
