Baahubali series has opened up Pan-India markets to Telugu Films, especially, Hindi markets. Saaho, Salaar, RRR, Kalki 2898 AD films collected heavily in Hindi markets. RRR has been able to collect over Rs.1200 crores and even Kalki 2898 AD crossed Rs.1100 crores gross with the help of Hindi diaspora. Salaar and Saaho collected profitable amounts in Hindi market while they did not collect as expected in other South Indian markets. 

Even Pushpa The Rise, achieved huge cult status in Hindi heartland but did not attain same level in South Indian markets. Kerala and Tamil Nadu states did not really warm up to the character or the film. Even in Telugu states, movie did not live up to the expectations of the movie-goers from Allu Arjun and Sukumar combination. 

So, when the Pushpa 2: The Rise has been announced, many anticipated it to be better than first film. In Hindi markets, the movie opened to 334 crores Nett collections in just 5 days. The gross would be close to Rs.500 crores from just Hindi markets. Worldwide gross in 5 days is close to Rs.885 crores with official figures yet to be announced. 

But then, Pushpa 2 The Rule is not getting the same kind of appreciation from Industry like RRR, Baahubali-2 did. Even Pushpa The Rise received positive appreciation starting from Mahesh Babu to many stars, actors. Now, Pushpa 2 has been able to topple SRK's Jawan records with Highest ever Single Day and Opening day collections. 

Such a huge achievement is not at all being considered or mentioned by TFI stars. In fact, Siddharth openly commented with sarcasm that Patna people assemble even when JCBs are brought to their place, so Pushpa 2 crowd is not a big surprise for him. Rajendra Prasad, commented that Hero's definition as changed as a sandal wood smuggler is being projected as a leading protagonist. 

What changed now? If Allu Arjun's supposed feud with Mega Family is a reason, then Arjun openly thanked Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, by calling him, "Kalyan Babai". At  the same time, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan did not wish Allu Arjun, their Bunny, on such a huge achievement. 

There is a huge silence among everyone even though Pushpa 2 is on track to become fastest Rs.1000 crores grosser. Will the wishes pour in after it touches 1000 crores landmark or will it just be ignored?

Even in Telugu markets, the hikes and over pricing of the tickets has shown huge impact on the film's performance. The film is underperforming and in Kerala, Tamil Nadu movie could end up with losses. Even AP markets could see some sort of losses, mainly in Godavari basin. 

So, Pushpa seems to be once again ruling the roost in Hindi but falling short in Telugu. Maybe this is the reason for open bashing of the film and this silence from all stars even though it achieved such a feat. Some even say that Allu Arjun has never been vocal in supporting others' films and hence, he is getting same treatment back. Whatever maybe the reason, this silence is weird and unfathomable for the movie-goers.
