The young sensation Akhil Akkineni failed to impress audience and score a hit with his previous film Agent, directed by Surender Reddy. The film became a biggest disaster at the box office. The actor is currently on a break and didn't sign any new project.

The actor has been in talks with a debutant Anil Kumar for a high-budget periodic drama titled Dheera and UV Creations are backing this film. The pre-production work of the film has been happening from some time. 

It is known that Akkineni fans have been criticising Nagarjuna for not producing Akhil’s film and for not setting up the right film for Akhil. The film will be announced at the earliest. Interestingly, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya will jointly bankroll this project on Manam Enterprises banner.

Murali Kishor Abburu who made an impressive debut with Kiran Abbavaram’s Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha will direct this film. Lenin is the title speculated for the film and an official announcement will be made soon. The regular shoot of Lenin will commence this year and the team is currently finalizing the leading lady and other lead actors.

The filming starts this year and an official announcement will be made very soon. Fans and audience wants to see his massive comeback.
