7th Sense Review

Suriya comes back into Tollywood after blockbuster ‘Singam’ (Yamudu in Telugu). 7th sense movie is most of the much awaited movies of the year and with Murugudoss holding the megaphone, the expectations are soaring. Let’s check out 7th sense Telugu movie review to find out whether this 7th sense can set the box office ablaze.

Story
Bodhi Dharma (Suriya) is a young prince. On his parents’ instructions, he travels to a small village in China and preaches martial arts and medicine and finally passes away there. Cut to present, Subha (Shruti Hassan) is a Genetic Engineering researcher working on Bodhi Dharma and trying to spot his descendants.  She comes across Aravind (Suriya) a talented circus artist, has the same DNA of Bodhi Dharma. Subha wants to inject Bodhi Dharma’s DNA into Aravind’s so that the latter can get back the super power. How Aravind and Subha could achieve this amidst great turnarounds has to be seen on silver screen.

Analysis
Suriya and Murugadoss is a surely super hit combo and they have lived up to their expectations. 7th sense (7 Aum Arivu in Tamil) is surely one of the best movies that have hit the screens recently, at least, in terms of script. In 7th sense, director Murugadoss greatly conveyed the historical story of Bodhi Dharma and the contributions of ancient Indians, which were ignored.  The connect created between history and modern science reminds us of Kamal Haasan's blockbuster film Dasavatharam but the best part of the movie is that Murugadoss got the basics right – done lot of research on the subject matter and script.

TeluguOne Perspective
Revisiting history, embarking onto it and customizing it to the contemporary life on screen is one of the greatest challenges in cinema but Murugadoss has done great job in accomplishing it. 7th sense, as the name itself suggests, truly has something in store as Murugadoss weaves a super anecdote.  The aura and grandeur Murugadoss brought to this film is amazing. Once again, 7th sense is a classic example of how significant is a script and the research behind it.

Performances
Suriya is flawless and does everything with perfection and ease. His stunning performance in the outfits of Bodhi Dharma in the first 30 min is an eye feast. Suriya has put in lot of effort for this 7th sense movie and it is clearly visible.

This is a dream debut for Shruti Hassan and she could not have asked for a better. In fact, her character is the heart of the movie. However, she needs to improve on her acting in romantic scenes. Dong Lee (Johny Tri Nguyen) as a loyal Chinese army servant and an expert in martial arts is a stand out performer.

Final Word
7th sense telugu movie review is very enthusiastic. The movie is really worth watching on the screens and the talk will spread quickly and is a perfect treat for this festive season!
