Analysis :
This film is a combination of five stories that come together in the Jihadi backdrop. Keeravani's statement that this film is an answer to the comment that Tollywood has no flicks to match the likes of "3Idiots". Manchu Manoj Kumar acting in a role of very short duration and star performer Allu Arjun acting as a person from the slum area sounds special. Director Krish took care to make the characters visible throughout the film rather than the performers. And he succeeds too and intervenes the stories with each other without disturbing the harmony. Careful handling of Screenplay could have made it more watchable. Altogether this film is interestingly presented.
TeluguOne Perspective :
Acting-: All performed to their best. Manoj Kumar gave good performance in making his character an interesting one. Bunny tried to present a different thread of acting and scores well too. His acting skills receive appreciation during the scenes of his attempts to steal money from Ramulu and while returning the stolen money to Ramulu. Anushka too fares well in her role as a prostitute. Manoj Bajpai, Ramulu, Saranya, Raghubabu and others too did justice to their roles. Music-: Keeravani not only scored good music, but also penned lyrics for four songs. Songs are well written and finely tuned. Re-recording needs special mention here. Background music scored during the scenes of Bunny's attempts to steal money from Ramulu and while returning the stolen money to Ramulu sound novel and funny too.Dialogues-: 'Cheppulu kuttevadiki illu vundadu, cheppulu kuttevadiki cheppulu vundavu... alaagey battalu nesey vadiki battalu vundavu' "... manishi nakili notlanu tayaruchestadu... notlu matram nakili manushulni tayaru chestunnayi" etc dialogues entertain the audience very well.Camera-: Though the cinematographer gave excellent work in presenting the scenes, red tint seems to overpower in some scenes. Whether intentionally done or not, it looks cumbersome in those. Editing-: Neat and crisp.Choreography-: GoodAction-: Well composed in a realistic manner. As this is the second film from Krish, after 'Gamyam', audience have great expectation on this. Death of the main characters Manoj and bunny, and the leading lady being portrayed as professional prostitute, may not go down well with the traditional Telugu audience. Hence it may take at least two weeks to estimate the success of the flick. Still one must appreciate Krish for his attempt to experiment and entertain the audience in a novel way.A must watch for those who love to watch experimental flicks.
