Adarsh, Bablu and Soni Raj play the main roles. These three students are good friends and spend time together, mostly in Soni's house.Adarsh hopes to marry Soni, but soon learns Soni is a fan of chess Grandmaster Amrut (Mukesh) and even longs to marry him.Now Adarsh and Bablu decide to fulfil their friend Soni's ambition. In order to win his heart for Soni, the two take a job in Grandmaster's household and start brainwashing him on how great Soni is, how traditional she is and so on. But for the artiste who plays the role of the chess grandmaster and another girl appearing in a small role as one Rangamma, none in the cast look good and fit in their roles.

Analysis :

One wonders why Achyut Reddy made such a long film, with scenes almost running like a serial without making sense.'Talk as you like and do what you want' appears to be the dictum even in a classroom. The teacher-student relationship depicted in the film is unrealistic.Babumohan, our member of State Legislative Assembly, who plays a teacher, should have been the first one to protest against this kind of picturization.The cast is made up of new actors.

This must have been the longest film running for more than three hours among the entire range of youth films released during the last two years.But there is little substance to the story. Even the narration is quite confusing. Only in the second half, some element of crime is introduced.
