They develop a close friendship. They happen to meet again after they grow up. The rest of the story is all about whether they fall in love or not.
Analysis :
Director Neelakantha this time chooses 'narrative' structure to tell the story. The film starts off interestingly with lead characters narrating the movie. He presents a simple love story in a different manner. The first half is too good laced with humour. But the second half drags on for no end and at times tests the patience. The film appeals to elite audiences as it lacks commercial elements. Raja and Genelia look good as pair and the scenes between them are well-shot. The first half can be enjoyed by everyone - especially the scenes between Dharmavarapu and M S Narayana are enjoyable. Post the interval, Raja meeting Sonu Sood and connecting scenes are tedious. The intention of making hero realize his fault by putting against him an ideal person is good but it misfires with the wrong casting (Sonu Sood) and somewhere along the line the director has missed the grip.
TeluguOne Perspective :
There are very few minus points in the movie. The character played by Suman Shetty is useless. He has been kept only for namesake as the hero's buddy. Likewise, some scenes in the combination of Raja and Sonu Sood appear a little artificial. A couple of songs are also at the wrong timing. But all these minus points are overshadowed by Neelakanta's directorial abilities. Neelakanta, who realised that lack of a punching comedy was the reason behind the failures of two of his films, has spared good time for comedy in the film. Comedy by Dharmavarapu and MS Narayana is adequate and gives quite a good relief to the film. Camera work by Sunil K Reddy and editing by Nagireddy are good. Though the heroine has London origin, the director has not tried to shoot a part of the film in London like all the other directors of the present generation. The entire film has been shot in India and especially in Hyderabad and Vizag and their surrounding areas. Lyrics by Bhuvanachandra and Kandikonda are sweet and music by Chakri added flavour to the lyrics.
