Plot:
Stephen Nedumally(Mohanlal) is nowhere to be seen in Kerala Political Picture and in 5 years, Justin Ramadass(Tovino Thomas) has become a sort of dictator in the state. Such destructive thought process is anti PKR ideals.

Now, everyone in the party is expecting Stephen's comeback. On the other hand, there is a personal connect with Stephen aka Abraham Kureshi with Bajrangi. Where is Abraham Kureshi and why he is under alias Stephen and who is Zayed Masood (Prithviraj Sukumaran)? Watch L2 Empuraan Movie to know more.

Analysis :

Mohanlal delivered swaggy and charismatic performance in this role. But his screen time is very less when compared to Lucifer. Still, his screen presence is enough to bring huge cheers. Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier and Abhimanyu Singh deliver good performances but their screen time is again low.

Murali Gopy as a writer complicates the story with his screenplay and the establishment of characters takes too much of time in the first hour. But the second hour brings everything perfectly into place yet it just seems like one action part after another.

Prithviraj Sukumaran as a narrator takes too much time in establishing every line and character with lengthy scenes. His beginning twenty minutes portion could have been shortened and several sequences just feel like over stretched at places. Mohanlal appears like an item used for effect rather than watching his story.

In any case, there is a very interesting storyline underneath yet for the announced part 3, the film seems to have been stretched and new characters and angles have been introduced for the sake. Overall, the movie has great style than the content still it is engaging for the performances and stylish narrative and bit of concentration on story wouldn't have hurt it.

TeluguOne Perspective :

Too slow narrative hurts the well planned out sequences with over emphasis on style.
