Veteran director and brilliant character-actor K. Viswanath is the grandfather of an active child, Sai, whose very presence electrifies the whole atmosphere. His role is shaped as a role model for all grandparents. Besides his own grandchild, the other children in the locality also some under his influence and treat him as their own man.He entertains and educates them. Viswanath's (Achyut) and daughter-in-law (Sana) ignore their children. Sana is a termagant too with her husband playing second fiddle. She bombards her father-in-law for preaching ancient morals to her son. The old man who is forced to leave the house is duly looked after by other children. In the process, we come across scenes like children being used to transfer love letters, imitating film stars, getting easily drawn to evil ways, and some trying to end their life following failures in exams, etc.
Analysis :
Director Ashok Kumar tries his best to weave the drama as a matrix of moral and practical lessons. Viswanath, for a change is seen dancing along with children. He performs with ease enjoing his presence amidst children. All the child artistes are well handled by the director. Among the rest, Achyut, Sana and Dharmavarapu Subramanyam make an impact. Music is quite soothing.

The title denotes a set of pet words used to pamper young children. This is a children's film. Debut-making director Ashok Kumar is a familiar actor who appeared on the small screen before moving to the big screen for comedy roles. He directs this movie for producer Saana Yadi Reddy of Sampangi fame. The subject aims at projecting problems faced by parents in handling their children.
