Umpteen movies have come heralding 'brother-sister sentiment' right from the days of NTR-Savithristarred old classic "Raktha Sambandham" to recent Pavan Kalyan's "Annavaram". This flick too is of thesame mold, but its makers took care in giving it a different treatment. Ramakrishna is a football player. His family consists of father, two married elderly brothers and a kid sister Harika. Ramakrishna is very fond of his kid sister Harika and always covers up her mischievous deeds. Suddenly she disappears on the day of her betrothal. Ramakrishna rescues her by pulling her into the running train, when Kick Shyam and his goons were chasing her. Here comes the intermission. After intermission, the story begins with Harika narrating how she loved Kick Shyam...married him secretly....what happened when the newly wed couple went to Shyam's village and asks her brother to shield her this time too, as he has been doing since her childhood. What Ramakrishna did thereafter.... how he managed to set right his kid sister's life.... forms the rest of the story
Analysis :
Director Mallikarjuna has put all his might and skills in directing this movie. The opening scene of this movie comes just before climax of the movie (like in Rajanikanth starred "Basha" movie). Taking of the shots is excellent and the tempo of narration is well maintained.Acting: Hero and producer of this flick, Kalyanram, has done full justice to his role with a matured approach. He did very well in the emotional 'sister-sentiment' scenes. And coming to the angry and action scenes, he succeeded in emitting fire from the eyes. The see-to-believe 'acrobatic' dance steps displayed by him in the song, 'natu kodi pulusu ...', has drawn a good response from the audience. In a way, Kalyanram has shouldered the entire movie with his all round performance. As a producer, he didn't squirm anywhere in spending on the flick. Productions values of the movie are very good. Heroine Sana Khan had nothing much to do in this movie. Sharanya did well in 'sentiment' scenes. Primely, Kota's performance as 'Muthyam' in this movie is to be mentioned. He did an excellent job which is highly appreciable. His dialogue modulation, acting and expressions have a mark of his own. Bramhanandam's comedy track succeeded in bringing bouts of laughter. Dharmavarapu's role aided in elevating hero's character. Others too did justice to their respective roles.
TeluguOne Perspective :
Music: All the songs are good. Specialty of the songs are that their lyrics are clearly audible. 'Natu kodi pulusu' is an out right mass song and will be much liked by the audience. Re-recording too is good.Cinematography: Very good. Photography is very much compatible to the Computer Graphics. It excelled more in fights and songs, Sarvesh Murari should be appreciated for it.Dialogues: Flick contains 'high range' dialogues similar to Rajamouli flicks. M. Rathnam certainly knows the pulse of the audience. Editing: Editor Goutham Raju's experience is evident in every frame of the movie.Art: Very good.Choreography: Making Kalyanram perform too many difficult dance steps, is indicative of the importance given to choreography in this movie.Action: In action composing Ram-Laxman duo are getting closer to Hollywood standards day by day. All the"It's a 'brother-sister sentiment' mixed with commercial elements flick and can be watched without any hesitation."
