Shriya (Swati) is an upcoming singer with an ambition to sing in the direction of the famous music director A.R.Rahman. But her mother (Delhi Rajeshwari) dislikes music and wishes to make her daugher a Chartered Accountant. Unknown to her mother, Shriya sings in a hotel after working hard in the office. A youngster from London, Srinu (Kamal Kamaraju) immensely likes her songs and develops immediate fondness about her. Once Shriya is faced with an unexpected criticism from a drunk classical singer Rao (Vikram Gokhale), who comes to the same hotel as their guest.Srinu consoles her and suggests that she should learn music from him. As Rao refuses the request, Sriya, in the guise of a maid servant enters Rao's household and wins his affection. He begins to teach her music. Rao is suffering from throat cancer. At last Sriya is to realize her dream of singing for A.R.Rahman and Rao is happily making arrangements for her. She comes to know the truth that Rao is none other than her father. Instead of going to the world famous musician, Sriya participates in Voice of A.P Competition. What's the reason that changed her decision..? What events follow in her life... are to be seen on the silver screen.

Analysis :

This is a feel good movie. Without the usual romance, vulgar dialogues and violence, 'Kalavaramaye...' entertains with crisp screenplay. Director Satish Kasetty, who won National Award for his 'Hope', claims to be an Ekalavya Shishya.. to director K.Vishwanath. Hence there nothing to wonder if one is reminded of a Shankarabharanam, a Sagarasangamam while watching this flick. The director and the producer must be congratulated for creating such a clean entertainment.

Action: Swati played the role with ease and showed much improvement in her acting prowess. But it may be too early to compare her with the great actress Savitri. As the central character she did justice to her role. She should not forget there is more to achieve. Hero Kamal Kamaraju too lived up to the expectations of his role. His acting skills improved more than his previous film Avakaya Biryani. The credit should go to the director. Though an outsider, Vikram Gokhale acted well. Delhi Rajeshwari did justice to her role. Tanikella Bharani's acting prowess needs no introduction.Music: It needs a special introduction as the music director Sarat Vasudevan hails from a family that delved in music for a span of two hundred years. He is the first disciple of the great Mangalampally Balamurali Krishna. He scored music for many Malayalam films. All the songs in this flick are melodious and the audio already proved to be a hit with the listeners.
