Gangaram (Gopi Chand) an orphan wishes to become a police officer. He works hard to realise his dream. Continues his studies as well as works in a hotel. At last achieves his goal of becoming SI. DIG Bharat Nandan (Nasser) identifies the spark in him and appoints him as Encounter Specialist. Pavitra (Priyamani) is an event organiser and falls in love with Gangaram. Khalid (Kelly Dhorjee) from Malaysia and Talwar (Shavar Ali) here in Hyderabad successfully carry on their mafia works. With great support from his DIG Bharat, Gangaram concentrates on Talwar's gang and encounters all of them. It is revealed to Gangaram that the DIG made him execute the wishes of Khalid to wipe out Talwar's gang from the city. It is even planned by the DGP to encounter Gangaram. How Gangaram goes through all this and comes out as a winner and unites with Pavitra forms the rest of the story.

Analysis :

Puri Jagannath successfully narrates the story in a straight forward manner. How the higher ups in police department unite with mafia leaders and make it difficult for their sub ordinates is well narrated. Though he did not opt for a separate comedy track, the comedy scenes involving Ali as Gopi provided the much needed comic relief. Second part of the film reverberates with bullets. The way hero faces the baddies and plays psychological games to defeat them is well narrated. Though a sincere officer in Pokiri, Nasser plays opposite shade in this as a corrupt officer. With this flick, Shavar Ali made his debut into Tollywood. Puri's screenplay makes the film more action oriented.

Gopi Chand entertains well in the role of Gangaram the encounter specialist. He worked well with his body language and expressions to depict the role to his best.Priyamani did well in her role as PavitraRoja too fares well as the mother of the leading lady Priyamani. Ali entertains well in his short role. Nasser too did justice to his role. Shavar Ali, Kelly Dhoorji performed well. All other star cast performed well.Chakri gave good music.Bhaskarabhatla penned good lyrics.Puri's dialogues are entertainingVijay choreographed action scenes very interestingly. Climax fight in Malaysia is the highlight of the film'This film is a must-watch for action film lovers.
