It was earlier reported that Samantha Ruth Prabhu was doing Telugu remake of Kannada super hit U-Turn, but she is said to have dropped out of the project. As per reports, it has now come to Nithya Menon, who is interested to do the film is expected to sign the dotted line soon.

Nithya Menon, who has taken a break from Telugu films, is all set to come back with a couple of projects that have mostly woman-oriented subjects. Buzz says that, the actress may play the lead in the Kannada hit film U-Turn that is going to be remade in Telugu.

Producer KS Rama Rao is going to introduce a new director and has already narrated the story to Nitha, which she liked. They are developing the story and it may start after some time.
