Is Ajith using Akshay Kumar formula for his next?

Ajith Kumar is one of the biggest stars of Indian Cinema, from Tamil language. He delivered a disaster like Vidaamuyarchi and a blockbuster with Good Bad Ugly, this year. He took a decision to concentrate on his racing career and do films, during intervals. His next film is going to be directed by Adhik Ravichandran.


But there is no clarity about production house. Reports suggest that distributor Raahul is producing the film. Many are shocked to see him becoming producer for a Rs-250-300 crores project. Latest reports suggest that Ajith has agreed to take Satellite, OTT and Audio rights for the film as remuneration.


Further the reports state that he decided to take Rs.160 crores as his remuneration and these rights will be sufficient for that. On the other hand, Raahul who distributed Good Bad Ugly is happy with how well this upcoming film could collect at the box office.


Well, Akshay Kumar followed this arrangement for long time in Bollywood. He opened his Cape of Good Films and started taking Satellite, OTT rights as his remuneration for many of his films. If Ajith is also following this arrangement, we might see many South Stars following this model.
