Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan's Mumbai residence, Jalsa, has received another bomb threat, triggering a security alert in the city. A threatening email sent to the Bombay High Court reportedly named Bachchan's residence, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and Worli Racecourse as potential targets.

Following the threat, Mumbai Police and security personnel carried out precautionary searches at the locations mentioned in the email.

No suspicious objects or explosives were found during the inspections. Police have launched an investigation to trace the sender and establish the motive behind the threat.

This is not the first recent threat involving the veteran actor. On October 23, an email sent to the Mumbai Mayor's office reportedly mentioned Bachchan's Juhu residence and Diljit Dosanjh's upcoming concert at Mahalaxmi Racecourse.

The earlier threat had also referred to a possible attack on a school, raising concerns over security at prominent locations across Mumbai.

Following the earlier incident, Amitabh Bachchan was seen greeting fans outside Jalsa from behind a transparent bulletproof enclosure during his customary Sunday appearance. The latest threat has once again put the actor's security under focus.
