Suriya proves his big heart once again

on Oct 8, 2024

Suriya became one of the biggest star of South Indian Cinema. He has huge fan base in Tamil and Telugu States. While he is a star, he also harbours a big heart and once again he proved it. He worked without taking remuneration in Kamal Haasan's Vikram, showing his love for the legend.

He has been instrumental in giving big break to director T.J. Gnanavel, as he encouraged the director to bring Jai Bhim to big screen as per his vision. Immediately, Suriya wanted to work with the director again. But the director got an opportunity to meet Superstar Rajinikanth and make a film with him.

During the time, Gnanavel started pre-production works as well. He immediately went to Suriya and told him about the opporunity. Immediately, the actor asked him to meet Rajinikanth and start working on the Superstar film. And the actor even suggested the director to go with Vettaiyan script to the Superstar.

When Gnanavel had doubts, he convinced him to go ahead and narrate the story to Rajini. Finally, Vettaiyan is ready for release on 10th October. Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dhansika are cast in other prominent roles in the movie.

Movie is carrying very medium range hype when compared to Jailer. But Anirudh Ravichander songs have been once again smash hits. Had the trailer been even more promising, the movie might have had Rajinikanth film hype and buzz. Still the bookings are good and word of mouth could decide its fate.
