Tips to Hide Receding Hairline
One of the common problems women face after their 30s is the receding hairline in the crown area. There are many causes attributed to this hair loss which includes, hormonal imbalance, onset of menopause, infections in the scalp, excessive use of medication for treating gynecological problems, over use of hair styling tools, perming and excessive pulling of hair
Medication can cure this visible problem, but you could also try these tips to cover your crown area to avoid the thin look.
- Part your hair and let it naturally fall on your face. Avoid pulling your hair backwards as it will further emphasize the problem area.
- The other way to hide a receding hairline in women is avoiding taut ponytails or buns (although they help in lifting your face). Go for lose and messy traditional ponytails, which will ensure a healthy scalp and hairline.
- Use bangs to hide balding or thinning hairline. Blunt and straight bangs i.e. haircuts just above your face are a great way to cover your forehead. You can also try side swept bangs as they can hide your hairline.
- Try a shorter hair cut that will reduce the contract between the rest of your hair and your hairline that is receding.
- Try using hairband to cover the foreline , but this can be worn depending on the dress you wear
The last option would be to go for wigs that can be washed, flat ironed, curled, etc.
