Sleep may be just a hobby for some, while some consider it just a mode of relaxation.

But it is very important state of the body wherein the body tissues are replenished and restored.

From the health aspect too it is very useful and important, so make sure you get some proper sleep, by proper sleep we mean sleep full of dreams The benefits of good sleep are

• During sleep our memories and skills learnt when awake are strengthened ,this is called consolidation. If we are learning something new, we tend to perform better after sleep

• People with less than 6hours sleep are more prone to inflammatory disease as the inflammatory C-Reactive protein such as associated with heart diseases, diabetes, premature ageing.

• Researchers at Harvard University found that people strengthen emotional component during sleep thus helping in extending your creative side.

• Problems related to attention and concentration are attributed to sleep deprivation. So, in short want better grades get some quality sleep.

• Wanna loose weight?? Best is to sleep tight, did you know while (dreaming)sleep you loose about 100 calories per hour, dieting can never be so easy.

• Adequate sleep helps in fighting stress, depression, anxiety and many others mental disorders

And make it a point to sleep for 6 hours or more daily, making up some extra sleep during weekends will just not strike the balance in your body.
