Analysis :
BBUDDAH HOGA TERRA BAAP is an out and out Amitabh Bacchan movie. The Hindi film industry was referred to as a one-man industry in 1970s and 80s. The Bachchan mania was invincible and indestructible. This movie proves that once again. This film relies entirely on the persona and charisma of this iconic actor of Indian cinema. And certainly the credit goes to director Puri Jagannadh for making this movie with that iconic actor. In fact Puri himself is a big fan of Amitabh Bacchan and knows pretty well how fans like to see him on the screen. Puri Jagannadh succeeded in showing their matinee-idol exactly like they wish to see him.
Acting: Amitabh Bachchan is truly the 'Baap' when it comes to performing this kind of roles and BBUDDAH HOGA TERRA BAAP reiterates this fact yet again. His character, his attitude and the dialogue he delivers will remain etched in memory for a long, long time to come. Besides his acting potential, Bacchan is known for portraying larger than life roles, witty and well delivered dialogue. Puri gave him the perfect lines that a superstar like Amitabh Bacchan requires.
Dialogues, especially when he's confronting the baddies in the movie, will draw whistles and claps from all sections of the audience. The chemistry between the Amitabh-Hema is refreshing. Raveena's role is poorly defined and for that reason she failed in making any impact. Sonu Sood is first-rate, confident at every step. Not once do you feel that he's overawed by Bachchan's towering presence. Sonal Chauhan looks pretty and also performed well. Charmi is likeable and contributes to the funny moments. Prakash Raj is super. In fact, it's a treat to watch powerful actors like Bachchan and Prakash Raj embroiled in a confrontation. Makrand Deshpande is wonderful. Shahwar Ali is okay. Others too did justice to their respective roles.
Music: Sekhar Rao Jiani did a super job while composing the medley of Bachchan hits, 'Go Meera Go, the soft and soothing 'Haal-e-Dil' and the title song 'Bbuddah hoga terra baap', which comes at the very start of the film. Background score also is very apt and keeps the mood refreshing.
Dialogues: Puri Jagannadh provided dialogues in BBUDDAH HOGA TERRA BAAP BBUDDAH HOGA TERRA BAAPare catchy and are the highlights in the movie. "He main marunaga to goli se.... Bee pee aur sugar se nahin", like dialogues will certainly enthrall the hard core fans of the icon.
Lyrics: All the songs are well composed and rendered, while lyrics are understandable and are in contemporary Hindi.
Cinematography: Amol Rathod's cinematography is good in songs as well as in fight scenes.
Art: Very Good.
Editing: Editing of BBUDDAH HOGA TERRA BAAP is exceptionally good. Not a single frame or shot has been wasted. It's absolutely clean, crisp and neat.
Choreography: Pleasant and apt for the movie.
Action: Fight Master Vijay has certainly made his mark in Bollywood with this movie. Fight scenes have been well composed and are thrilling.
TeluguOne Perspective :
