Malaika was born on 23 August 1973, Bombay, Maharashtra, India. She is daughter of father Anil Arora, worked in the Merchant Navy, and a Malayali Catholic mother Joyce Polycarp.
She has a one sister named Amrita Arora, a famous Bollywood actress. Malika complete her school at Swami Vivekanand School in Chembur, Mumbai. She complete her college from Jai Hind college, Churchgate.
As a starting career she became a MTV VJ. After that she entered in the modeling world. She appeared in many advertisements as well as cameos for song and item numbers in Bollywood films such as "Chaiyya Chaiyya" in the film Dil Se.
That song was became super hit. In 205 she did many item number like "kaal Dhamaal" in the film Kaal. In her Bollywood Career she appeared in many famous item songs in films like, Heyy Babby, Om Shanti Om and Welcome.
Her famous item song "Munni Badnaam" in the film Dabangg, was produced by her husband Arbaaz Khan in 2010. She also appeared in many television show like Nach Baliye, Nach Baliye 2 , Zara Nachke Dikha and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
Malika Arora is married to Bollywood actor and producer Arbaaz Khan, younger brother of a famous actor Salman Khan. Arbaaz Khan is the son of famous scriptwriter Salim Khan.
