Tips to prevent diseases of monsoon
The monsoons are slowly arriving and it’s time to get those rain coat and rubber shoes out. Happy that the showers are coming to bring in the much needed respite from the heat but along with that the diseases and bacterial it brings in also needs to be addressed.
The digestive system gets weakened due to dehydration in summer. This leads to low digestive power. Hence following diets which increase power of digestion and strengthen the digestive system would be beneficial in the rainy season. Try these tips:
· Light foods prepared out of old barley, rice and wheat.
· Sour and salted soups of vegetables.
· Drinking boiled and cooled water mixed with little honey.
· Consuming little quantity of wine prepared out of grapes.
· Adding ginger and green gram in daily diet.
· Eating warm food.
· Bathe with neem leaves. Add some leaves in hot water and let the leaves rest and use this water to bathe.
· Keep your feet clean and clean between the toes to prevent any infection
