Seemandhra MPs, who are still in dilemma over resigning to their posts, have got a breather with Lok Sabha Speaker Meera Kumar’s sudden tour program to Patna today. The seven MPs, who got an appointment of Speaker for 11.30 AM today and decided to insist her approve their resignations, feel quite relieved when they were told to meet her again on 30th of this month.
During the last three days, some of the MPs have changed their mind on resigning to their posts. Finally, only three MPs Lagadapati, Undavalli and Anantha Venkata Rami Reddy have stood firm on their decision.
Amalapuram Congress MP Harsha Kumar said “Our resignations are not going to show any effect on our party or the government. I think we can continue our fight only if we remain in our posts. Personally, I have no objections for bifurcation but the Hyderabad issue concerns me the most. Until, an amicable solution is found on sharing Hyderabad, I can’t agree for bifurcation.”
Rest of the MPs and Union Ministers plans to continue their fight against bifurcation by continuing in their posts.
