Is Jagan’s release impact Samaikyandhra agitations?

YSR Congress party president Jagan Mohan Reddy will be releasing from Chanchalguda jail on bail today after 15 months of imprisonment in connection with disproportionate assets cases. Apart from affecting the state politics, the timing of his release may divert the attention of the people from Samaikyandhra agitations to his political activities and his role in Seemandhra politics.

Further, he also may create a vertical split in the people and employees engaged in the ongoing Samaikyandhra agitations, by separating his followers from these unorganized groups. If his followers from these groups prefer to follow the dotted lines drawn by him, then Samaikyandhra agitations may slip from AP NGOs’ hands and Jagan take the reins. Since, he is betting his interests on Seemandhra he may intensify Samaikyandhra agitations on his party basis to win the hearts of the people.
