Homemade Fruit Pops for Kids !

The hotter months bring along a variety of fruits and thirst too. Cooling off should not be damaging the health. Instead of using store bought sugary drinks or icecreams, Fruit Pops can be made at home....we dont need bulky Ice Molds....even if we have simple Ice cube trays at home, just blend in some ripe fruit and pour into the molds, pop into the freezer and Wallah...they are ready!!

I always have these ready in my freezer, just to keep my child happy. Why should she feel bad that she isn't getting treats, or why should i give her those store bought sugar filled cold calories?! Infact, my homemade icepops are interesting to pop into the mouth for adults too....make a cold fruit salad with a variety of ripe fruits, or just drop a few of these colorful ones into a glass of plain water for the guests on a summer afternoon, or keep the kids busy trying to finish their icepops....

Almost every grocery store is selling BPA free, Silicon icecube trays and Small Muffin trays and Icepop molds. Crayola's products are interesting and safe. Making these fruit pops can be a fun kitchen project for the kids, give them this job and they will love it, both Making and Slurping ! They will learn a new job and also gulp those fruits they usually avoid eating. Let the fun be safe and healthy with these homemade Fruit pops!!
