Telugu association of North America is all set to organize a star night in US, in order to raise some funds for the flood relief. This proposal is being considered by the main members of the TANA association and which is said to take up a similar star night program which was held in Hyderabad on November 7th.

The movie artist association is still discussing this proposal which was brought forward by the TANA association last week. TANA was established in the year 1977 and from then on is actively participating in making Telugu language and culture perpetuate in North American states. Their goal is to make Telugu a well recognized language in America and are also actively participating in raising funds for the Hurricane Katrina victims and also for Tsunami victims in India. Recently, they have collected a good amount for the AP flood relief fund.

Chairman of TANA Shri Dr. Hema Prasad Yadla has also put forward a proposal in front of Movie artists association of Andhra Pradesh and the proposal is still under proposal. If it gets approved, then a Star night enriched with actresses dances and skits will be arranged in North America with which immense amount of money could be collected which will be diverted for AP relief fund.

Already, Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna along with Dr. Mohan Babu have expressed their willingness to participate in the program. Many big female stars like Kajal Agarwal, Anushka, Shriya, Mamta Mohan Das, Hansika, Sneha, Trisha, Namitha, Nayantara and so on will receive invitations if in case the program gets finalized. Renowned Young heroes like Junior NTR, Prabhas, Mahesh, Tarun, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun are said to play a small skit in this program which will be based ion imitating the senior stars.

More details will be officially revealed in November last week. If this star night gets into shape, then it is likely to raise funds which will be around 15 cr. The ‘Spandana’ star night held in Hyderabad on November 7th, 2009 rose around Rs 5.25 Cr.
