TANA Publications Committee has started to publish important Telugu books that might not otherwise be published. The first book in this series, a Telugu translation (with commentary) of Venkatadhwari’s Sanskrit Classic, Viswagunaadrasam, has been released on Friday, January 9 at the Vijaywada Book Fair. 

Dr. Jampala Chowdary presided over the meeting. Sri Vasireddy Naveen introduced the guests. Jayaram Komati, Interim President of TANA, described the aims and objectives of TANA and the objectives of this publications initiative.

The book was released by ‘Navodaya’ Ramamohana Rao and the first copy was received by Sri Kodavalla Hanumatha Rao, whose generous support made this publciation feasible. Sri. K.V. Ranaganadhaachaaryulu, retired Professor of Telugu, Central University, Hyderabad, introduced the book to the audience. Sri Indraganti Srikanta Sarma, who translated the boo, spoke briefly about why he chose to translate this book.
