It was a beautiful summer evening were New Jersey NRI’s gathered to celebrate the 500th year anniversary of Sri Krisha Deva Raya in North Brunswick Middle school in Middlesex county, NJ.
A grand gala Kuchipudi dance drama “Amuktamalyada” was presented by Natya Kala Visarada Sri K.V.Satyanarayana an eminent Kuchipudi artist from India along with Smt.Indira Sreeram Dixith a popular Tristate Kuchipudi artist. The 30 plus accompanying artists from the local New Jersey popular Kuchipudi dance school ‘Center for Kuchipudi Dance’ added grandeur to the ballet with their crisp execution of dance, movements, expressions and costumes.
The ballet was highly enjoyed and appreciated by one and all in the audience for its mellifluous music and excellent choreography and presentation by Sri K.V. Satyanarayana. On this occasion Damu Gedala president of savetelugu .org , Hari Eppanapally founder of the trust and many other prominent art lovers conferred the title” Natya Kala Tapasvi” to Smt.Indira Dixith and praised for her continuous and dedicated efforts towards kuchipudi and creating interest and awareness in kids towards the culture in the Tristate region for more than a decade.
Yester years’ popular telugu film star -The guest of honor Smt. Anjali Devi gave away the mementoes and the trophies to the all participants.
