It’s a world of social media and it’s always easy to fall for a fake news. But, how could a responsible person like Shashi Tharoor fall for it. Yet! That`s what has happened. He was taken by a fake news that former RBI governor Raghuram Rajan was appointed as governor of `Bank of England’. Tharoor was quick to grab the news and spread it on his twitter. Later he was pointed out the Raghuram was being considered for the post and was not actually appointed. Tharoor has then regretted that he was misled. Shouldn’t we be careful with what we say and what we spread!
