Shoe Thrown at Rahul Gandhi in Dehradun

A shoe was thrown at Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi today while he was campaigning at Vikasnagar in Uttarakhand.
The security personnel accompanying Rahul immediately got alerted and the person who threw the shoe was taken into custody. Reacting over the incident, Mr. Gandhi said that he won't be cowed down by such attacks and run away from the campaign. Recently, Sonia Gandhi has also campaigned in the hilly state. Uttarakhand has been a BJP stronghold and the party's hoping to return to power.
