Slipper Flung at Suresh Kalmadi

An irate youngman flung his slipper at Suresh Kalmadi while the latter was being taken to the court by the CBI sleuths. Kalmadi was taken into custody by the Central Bureau of Investigation yesterday on charges of large scale corruption in conducting 2010 Commonwealth Games. After spending a night in CBI custody, Kalmadi was taken to the court today.
While Suresh Kalamadi was being walked towards court surrounded by the cops, an irate youngman from the crowd suddenly came rushing towards Kalmadi holding a chappal in his hand. He tried to hit Kalmadi with the slipper, but couldn't get close enough and in desperation, threw the slipper on to Kalmadi. Immediately the cops caught hold of the youngman and dragged him away and later it was reported that the youngman received a good thrashing from the cops. People who witnessed the incident started wondering, why the cops had to beat him so mercilessly. What was so heinous the young man has done than Mr. Kalmadi. A perpetrator of swindling thousands of crores of public money is being escorted respectfully to the court, while the common man, whose money the swindler usurped, was dragged and thrashed brutally.
