CBI has strongly opposed Jagan Mohan Reddy’s plea for sparing him from personal appearance to court for attending his illegal assets cases. It argues that it will impact all the cases filed against him. The CBI court adjourned his petition to February 4th.

CBI court also adjourned Minister Geeta Reddy’s discharge petition to February 6th. Geeta Reddy is named in the charge sheet of Lepakshi Knowledge Hub, a case related to Jagan Mohan Reddy’s illegal assets case.

In her petition she appealed the court that she is innocent and got no personal gains except following the orders given by the then CM late YS Rajashekar Reddy in Lepakshi Knowledge Hub deal. So, she appealed the court to discharge her from this case. CBI court has asked CBI to file its reply in this regard before February 6th.
