YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy was granted bail on Monday in the disproportionate assets case after remaining in prison for more than a year. He was granted bail in two lakh surety. Jagan was arrested on May 27, 2012.

The Supreme Court had earlier said that only after the chargesheet was completed, the bail to Jagan would be considered.

Meanwhile, celebrations broke out outside the court as soon as Jagan's supporters heard the news.
