SIMPLE WEDDING CAN ALSO BE BEAUTIFUL!

Indian weddings are known for being the most elaborate and lavish along with being extremely expensive. Marriage is a bond between two people. Its promise that two give to each other not a platform for boasting the possession of wealth. A simple wedding with all the rituals can also be fun without extending it for a number of days and spending on unnecessary things. What one needs is to make a wedding memorable not expensive. I know its a trend today to have a week long wedding with countless ceremonies each day but its not as important as it is hyped. Assuming that there are some people who wish to keep their wedding at a low profile I’m moving on to some suggestions that will keep your wedding simple yet make it most memorable!

Indian marriages are very particular about the auspicious time of marriage. This has created an all new season of marriages in India during which all the auspicious days are available. Taking advantage of this the people at the market make everything very expensive. If you want to escape from this plan an off season wedding! I’m sure there are a lot of auspicious days waiting to be used at other times of the year. Make use of those and celebrate an economical wedding. Cut down on the number of pre wedding ceremonies if you want a quick wrap up. Once the date is fixed you must not waste anymore time to get started with the preparation. Unlike most others who depend on wedding planners for their big day you could call in your friends and cousins to do the arrangements for you. This will not only cost you less but it will also give all your guests a sense of involvement in your wedding.

Having fewer guests is the best trick of having the least expensive wedding. Less people means less money spent on food, a smaller place to accommodate them and less number of invitation cards. Invite only those friends and relatives who share an intimate relation with the bride and the groom. A good wedding does not require the attendance of each and every member in the family tree. Most of them may not even know anything beyond your name. So try to keep the guest list as short as possible and make your wedding a private affair.

The next section that requires attention to make a wedding economical is clothes. The bride especially requires to buy a number of saris for different ceremonies. Cutting down on pre wedding ceremonies will obviously reduce your expenses on this section but there are still some things you need to  take care of. Buy your clothes from the most economical stores. Don’t hesitate to survey a few places before you make the purchase. The reason why this is important is because the stuff that you buy for yourself on your wedding is less likely to be used on occasions later on in life. The same goes with jewelry. Try not to buy too much and make use of ancestral ornaments. Wish you a happy married life!
