Another Telugu Person lost his life in USA

Nikhil Karanam,28 years old, native of Visakhapatnam has been found dead in his apartment on April 21st in Trophy Club City, the suburbs of Dallas City. As per the Police Department, Nikhil might have died almost ten days before they found the body. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have many friends and was living alone in his apartment. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office and the crime investigator Robert Corley are investigating the case to determine the cause of the death. As per preliminary reports, there is no foul play found and he might have died of medical reaction.

 

Nikhil graduated from NIT Allahabad with MS (Industrial Engineering) in 2006.  He worked with Perot systems from 2006 to 2008 in Noida, India. He joined A&M University, Texas in 2008 and graduated with MS in 2011. He has worked with Fidelity Investments from April 2011 till Jan of 2012. He is survived by his parents Venkateswarlu, Sudha Rani and brother Vineet. Venkateswarlu Karanam is working as a school principal in Visakhapatnam area.

Friends of Nikhil have approached TANA President Prasad Thotakura for help. Prasad has informed the sad news to the family in Visakhapatnam and coordinating the logistics along with the fellow TANA officials Ram Yalamanchili, Manjulata Kanneganti, Anjaiah Chowdary Lavu. TANA TEAM SQUARE is making sincere efforts to send the remains of Nikhil to Hyderabad as soon as possible. Prasad Thotakura is in constant touch with the Indian Consulate officials, police, investigative authorities and funeral home staff to expedite the process. As of now, it is estimated that the mortal remains of Nikhil might reach Visakhapatnam by Friday evening.

 

TANA, a dedicated community organization, has been helping the Telugu community in North America for over 35 years handling multiple cases of this nature promptly and efficiently through TANA Team Square, an emergency assistance arm of TANA. On behalf of the Telugu community - Prasad Thotakura, TANA President, expressed his deepest condolences to Nikhil’s family who lost their loved one. Prasad thanked Nikhil’s friends Govind Raju, Srikanth and Chandan who are helping with several logistics at this difficult time.
