TG Venkatesh Ready to Campaign in Telangana

Minister TG Venkatesh has said that he was ready to campaign in Telangana in the present by-elections, though other leaders were afraid of doing so. Stating that he would campaign in Telangana when KCR went to Kovuru for campaign, Venkatesh said he would ensure that KCR was not harmed during his campaign in Nellore district. He also said that he would campaign in Kovuru and tell people of the need for keeping the state united, if KCR campaigned on behalf of Andhra Praja Samiti and talked about bifurcation. Stating that KCR’s meetings might attract large crowds, Venkatesh Sarcastically said that people throng even to have a look at jungle Men. Venkatesh said while he wanted to campaign in Mahabubnagar, some Congress leaders were asking him not to go there. It may be recalled that KCR who first announced that TRS would contest in Kovuru, later changed his version and said TRS was withdrawing from the contest at the request of the Andhra Praja Samiti. He however said that he would campaign for the Samiti’s candidate.
