Telugu Film Producer C Kalyan Arrested

Popular as Tollywood 'settlement king', film producer C Kalyan has been arrested by CID sleuths from Hyderabad in Chennai. Kalyan was apprehended in a flat in T Nagar with the help of Chennai 'Q' branch police at around 7 in the evening yesterday.
Initially police got the information that Kalyan is reaching Hyderabad from Bombay yesterday. CID officers formed in to two groups and awaited his arrival in Shamshabad Airport. But, later they received information that Kalyan has changed his route and going to Chennai. The officers immediately alerted their counterparts in Chennai and finally Kalyan was arrested.
The police turned their attention towards producer Kalyan after they arrested another producer Singanamala Ramesh recently. Ramesh and Kalyan are said to be close associates of Maddelacheruvu Suri's alleged killer Bhanu Kiran. With the arrest of Ramesh and Kalyan, police is hopeful that it would apprehend Bhanu also very soon. The police were on the look out for C Kalyan, who was evading arrest in a cheating case against him filed by Shalimar Videos. He was alleged with duping Shalimar Videos for 70 lakhs by assuring video rights of Pawan Kalyan starred 'Komaram Puli' movie.
