Telangana Congress MP Manda Jagannatham from Nagar Kurnool constituency has set a deadline to his party high command December 28th to come out with a favorable decision on Telangana issue during its all party meeting to be held by Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde at New Delhi. He said, otherwise he will bid good bye to the party and will join TRS party, which is inviting him into it. He also said that few more MLAs, MPs may follow his foot-steps incase the party fails to come out with favorable decision on Telangana issue.

His threat appears to be blackmailing his own party which gave him name and fame all these years. However, his decision to join the TRS party may prove fatal for him and others, who plan to follow him. After enjoying a ‘limitless freedom’ in the Congress party, if they couldn’t adjust with the dominating attitude of its president K.Chandrashekar rao and his relatives in the party, it will leave them nowhere. Once they join TRS they ‘must’ adjust with KCR and his top-trio dominating attitude to survive in the party. If can’t it would be nothing but a politically-suicide for them. Leaders like Vijaya Shanti stand a fine example for it, who feels humiliated with for being sidelined and for being considered as second class leader in the TRS party.

More over, at the time of allotment of party tickets to the candidates in the next general elections, they may face discrimination in the party due to the objections that may be raised by the existing aspirants of the party. In such case, either they have to contest on their own as independents, for which again TRS may objects or have to return to Congress fold with blackened faces. By the time, it will be too late for them as the Rahul’s teams in the state would have put their names in blacklist, because of their anti-party activities. So, the Telangana Congress MPs and others who might be considering all these facts, seems caught in a dilemma over leaving the party and to join TRS party, otherwise they would have jumped into TRS long back.
