Sonia Gandhi to Come Back Today From US

UPA chiarperson Smt. Sonia Gandhi, who underwent surgery in a US hospital for undisclosed ailment, is expected to come back to Delhi today. Sonia Gandhi has been in the US for an operation. Though the Congress refused to confirm the nature of her medical problem, different media reports said she was at the Sloane-Kettering Cancer Centre in New York.
In her absence, which was keenly felt by her party, a four member caretaker team comprising of three senior congressmen and her son Rahul Gandhi were in charge of the party affairs. Sources say that Mrs. Gandhi is still under postoperative treatment and it is not clear when she will return to work, or be seen at Parliament. The mansoon session of Parliament comes to an end on 8th of this month.
