Akbaruddin Owaisi Attacked Live Video: MIM legislator from Chandrayangutta constituency in the city Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi was attacked by Mohammad Pahalwan's men on Saturday 30 April. Mr. Akbaruddin was undertaking Padatyatra in Barkas area, when he was first shot at and later was repeatedly stabbed. 4TV channel belonging to Malakpet MLA Mr. Balal, who was also accompanying Akbaruddin, filmed the attack live. Though the live footage of the video was available with the channel from Saturday, it was not made public till now. Fearing the video would flare up passions of MIM followers, MP Asadduddin Owaisi (elder brother of Akbaruddin) has reportedly stopped it from being aired. Now Mr. Akbaruddin's condition is stable and the video has been allowed to be telecast by the channel at 7.30 PM.
