Taliban Denies Reports of Mullah Omar Death

According to Afghanistan press reports, the most wanted Taliban leader Mullah Omar has been killed by security forces in Pakistan. The reports say, Mullah Omar was killed while travelling from Quetta to Waziristan.
However, The Taliban denied the reports that the insurgent group's leader had been killed in Pakistan, saying that Mullah Mohammad Omar is alive and in Afghanistan. "This is absolutely wrong. It's only propaganda and we completely deny these rumours. He is inside Afghanistan and he is busy directing military operations with his commanders," Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid told.
