Former Parakala MLA Konda Surekha's winning chances in the upcoming bypolls are very low, say the political observers. This time she is seeking vote on the YSR Congress party ticket. It is said, she and her spouce Konda Murali are both worried about the prospects of winning this time.

What is worrying the Konda couple is, in the recent by elections, TRS, BJP and Independent Nagam Janardhan Reddy have won on the Telangana sentiment. The couple is worried that they lack sufficient cadre in Parakala and Telangana sentiment is very strong there. Kondas have to entirely depend on late YSR's welfare schemes and Jagan Mohan Reddy's campaigning. Jagan sympathy wave may not withstand before Telangana sentiment in Parakala.

Meanwhile, Telugu Desam Party has announced fieling Challa Dharma Reddy as its candidate, where Congress and TRS are yet to name their candidates. As per the sources, Congress is mulling over fielding Gandra Venkataramana Reddy's wife Gandra Jyothi, Donthi Madhava Reddy of Congress is also vying for the ticket. TRS is toying with the names of Constituency in-charge Moguluri Bhikshapathi, Peddi Sudarshan Reddy and former MP Vinod Kumar. Political observers say that if the TRS fields Vinod Kumar then it will be very difficult for Konda Surekha to win the seat.
