Kiran Reddy Murder: Husband Chaitanya Produced in Court

Chaitanya Reddy, the husband of Union minister Jaipal Reddy's niece Kiran, who was arrested by the police on Wednesday in connection with his wife's murder was produced in the court this afternoon.
The deceased, Kiran Reddy was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her home at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad on Saturday morning. Forensic experts, who conducted the postmortem on Kiran, found strains of severe pressure on her face which they said could be the result of either smothering or poisoning. Accordingly, the police arrested her husband Chaitanya Reddy and produced him in Nampally courts.
Chaitanya Reddy, who is said to have confessed to the police about killing his wife Kiran, took u-turn and created a big scene in the court premises. He alleged that the police has tortured him brutally and made him sign the confession statement forcefully.
