TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao is wellknown for his acrimonious outbursts and also as an orator of great skills. In fact he is the leader who has taken 'separate Telangana demand' to the village level and also was successful to a great extent in making people believe whatever he said. But all of a sudden the vociferous leader has been keeping silent lately. Why this sudden transformation of KCR took place?
According to reliable sources, KCR has handed over his politics to his son and heir KTR. KCR who was just an ordinary man has earned crores of rupees through his political manipulations. The volatile leader, who has blackmailed the Congress party and earned a lot, has invested the money in a newspaper, TV channel and valuable lands. All these benefits accrued to him during the regime of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. He has diverted all the money he has earned through dubious means - into real estate and shipping companies of Maharashtra and Gujarat. He has also invested in several other business ventures, through his son. It is a known fact that he has entered into an agreement with YSR to maintain silence on Telangana, in return for monetary gain of hundreds of crores.
It is said, KCR is now afraid that the CBI which started investigation into Jagan's properties would also investigate into his. Both KCR and KTR are not able to actively participate either in the Telangana movement or media conferences as they fear the CBI. They are very much afraid that if the CBI starts investigating into the happenings during the Congress regime, their own shady deals might come to light. This is apparently the reason for their silence. The CBI is also making a cautious approach towards KCR as he is a Parliament Member.
