Journalists hold Protests in AP over Wage Board

The working journalists and other newspaper employees in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday held protests demanding immediate implementation of the recommendations of the Justice Majithia Wage Board. They staged demonstrations and 'dharnas' at several places in the state and submitted memorandums to the District Collectors and other high officials seeking notification of the recommendations of the Wage Board for journalists and non-journalists. This protest was in response to a nationwide call give by the Confederation of Newspaper and News Agency Employees Organisations.
