Former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Jalagam Venjgala Rao's son Jalagam Venkata Rao is going to join the YSR Congress party, inform the sources. Persons close to Venkata Rao also say that he is going to contest the next general elections from Khammam on YSRCP ticket.
The news is substantiated by recent happenings during YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Khammam to console the parents whose children have died in a school bus accident. It has been noticed that number of Venkata Rao's followers have been hanging around Jagan throughout the trip. Moreover, Venkata Rao's followers are telling openly that their leader is going to join the YSRC party. It is to be recalled that during last elections Venkata Rao was suspended from the party for defying party diktats. Though later he tried to re-join the party, but failed to do so. Having come to a conclusion that he has no place in Congress anymore, he is opting to join YSRCP, it is said.
