YS Jagan Mohan Reddy group former minister and MLA Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose has resigned from Assembly on Friday 17 February, 2012. He submitted his resignation to the Speaker Nadendla Manohar.
In his resignation letter, Subhash Chandra Bose mentioned that he is resigning as MLA because of the callous attitude maintained by the government in releasing funds to his constituency, Ramachandrapuram in East Godawari district. He said that the development works have stopped in the district due to lack of funds and people are facing many problems. He requested the speaker to allow him to explain in the House, why he has resigned. However, unconfirmed sources report that the Speaker is trying to convince Bose to withdraw his resignation.
